Placing your business on the market is an important and structured process, it is vital that you have the required documentation about the business ready and available.

Typically this will include:

3 years Profit and Loss statements;
BAS statements for the last four Quarters;
A list of all Plant & Equipment;
A copy of the Lease and any related documents;
If applicable, a copy of your Franchise Agreement.
An approximate value Stock on hand.

Financial statements about the business should be presentable, current and accurate.
If you are part-way through the current year, then last year’s figures should be a true representation of how the business is currently performing.
