Are you a fitter and turner, diesel fitter or tradesman? Would you like to choose the days and hours you work to suit your family/lifestyle?
On offer is a unique opportunity to buy into a 15 year old established, very successful, small business with numerous loyal corporate/government customers who provide continuous work throughout the year.

In operation since 2002 – 15 years and would now like to retire and reap the benefit of my successful business.

Customers are located throughout Brisbane and most of my work is completed onsite.

The purchaser will require a trade background to be able to complete customer job tasks – Will suit a Fitter and Turner, Diesel Fitter, or Mechanical background. There is genuine potential to grow the business if you wish to employ another trades person. I currently work 5 days a week with flexible hours to suit myself. I work to live and not live to work, so I have regular overseas holidays (4-6 weeks a year) to balance work and relaxation, but if you wish to work longer hours, there is plenty of work to do so. The scope of work is varied and interesting and includes welding, fabrication, servicing of pumps, filters and on site repairs to road paving machinery, bus wash bays, diving board maintenance, regular quarterly service and preventative maintenance etc.

The preventative servicing and maintenance is carried out on site and most of the repair work is also done on site at customer addresses. Some repairs are completed at my workshop at my home.

My business is a home based business so all you need is a small workshop area to complete repairs if unable to complete them on site.

I have no competition to Fitter and Turner, Diesel Fitter, Maintenance Fitter in my business. My customers call me as I am a “one stop shop” for all their work. There is no other source of contact for my customers. My customers are loyal to my business and are excited by the prospect of a new buyer continuing the service I provide. A qualified Fitter and Turner will possess the skills required to complete the work given by my customers and they will reap the success, which I have enjoyed for 15 years.

There is potential to expand by employing another trade’s person or working longer hours. The buyer can work the hours they choose.

There is potential to expand the business with the development of an internet website. I have never needed to advertise the business in 15 years as my work comes word of mouth from satisfied customers. However, a website would increase revenue if desired.

I currently work 30 to 40 hours a week with times to suit myself. The new buyer can work longer hours if they wish to increase their business profits.

I wish to retire as I have been a fitter and turner in excess of 45 years and it is time to reap the benefits of my hard work
